Palnadu : Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naiduasserted that a coalition of Janasena, BJP, and his party has come together with the aim of overthrowing the ruling YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) in the state. He emphasized that their alliance seeks to prevent the fragmentation of anti-incumbency votes.
Speaking at public gatherings in Palnadu district, during his Prajagalam election campaign, Naidu highlighted the collective efforts of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) partners for the welfare and progress of Andhra Pradesh. He noted Janasena leader Pawan Kalyan’s call for unity against the current administration, expressing solidarity with the cause.
“The collaboration between TDP, Janasena, and BJP is for the benefit and future prosperity of our people,” stated Naidu, referencing the challenging governance experienced under Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s tenure, which he described as “nightmarish.”
Naidu specifically addressed concerns regarding the treatment of the Muslim community under the YSRCP government, promising personal responsibility for their safety and welfare. He contrasted this with his previous tenure as part of the NDA, highlighting the absence of injustices against the Muslim community during that period.
Accusing CM Jagan of prioritizing power and allowing rampant corruption, Naidu pointed out issues like widespread sand mining and the stalled development of Amaravati, which he claimed would have brought significant revenue to the state if completed.
Looking ahead, Naidu reaffirmed his long-term vision, referencing his earlier Vision-2020 from 2000 and projecting India’s rise to global prominence by 2047.
