My husband’s phone also tapped: Telangana Minister Konda Surekha

Hyderabad: March 27: Telangana State Cabinet Minister Konda Surekha has stirred controversy regarding the ongoing phone tapping case in Telangana. Alleging that her husband Konda Muralis’ phone was also tapped during the previous BRS government, the Minister issued a stern warning that the Congress government would not spare anyone implicated in the significant phone tapping scandal.
Highlighting past failures of the BRS government, the Minister asserted that the downfall of the party had already commenced. She further accused former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s daughter, currently in judicial remand in connection with a Delhi liquor case, of having ties to the liquor business. Additionally, Surekha claimed that the KCR family had amassed substantial wealth through corrupt practices.
Referring to corruption allegations related to the Kaleshwaram Irrigation project under the KCR government, Surekha accused the BJP of maintaining silence on the corruption issue due to significant party funds received from the project contractor. She insinuated that the BJP had a vested interest and shared responsibility in the alleged corruption associated with the Kaleshwaram project.
