Lokesh performs Bhumi Puja  with BJP, JSP leaders

·     Arrangements for the first political meeting with alliance parties

March 12: TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh conducted Bhumi Puja at Boppudi village near Chilakaluripet in Guntur district on Wednesday for the forthcoming joint public meeting with the three parties in the alliance after the TDP joined the NDA.

The meeting has much political importance when the BJP especially Prime Minister Narendra Modi is sharing the dais with TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan after a long time.

It is expected that nearly three lakh to five lakh people will attend the meeting.

On this occasion, Nara Lokesh directed the party leaders to make arrangements based on the requirement. Several lakhs of people would attend from neighbouring districts, he said. “All the leaders should participate in the works as per the plan.”

The meeting would create history and the alliance had also gained importance when the three parties were working for state development, the leaders said. They also said that several lakhs of people would attend from Krishna, Guntur and Prakasam districts and the meeting would be an eye opener to the Chief Minister who was ruling as dictator, they said.  

Former Minister Pattipati Pulla Rao said that the meeting would give a fitting lesson to Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. He said that the people of five crore extended their support to the alliance parties. He further said that they were doing arrangements without any lapses. However, the TDP appointed 130 members for monitoring the arrangements in the name of the meeting arrangements committee. 

TDP president K Atchennaidu, MLAs Anagani Satyaprasad, Nimmala Ramanaidu, M Rama Raju, TDP leaders Nakka Ananda Babu, Alapati Rajendra Prasad, Kanna Lakshmi Narayana, TD Janardhan, Pendurti Venkatesh, Kommareddy Pattaibhi Ram, BJP leaders Y Raghunatha Babu,  P Nagabhushanam, Lanka Dinakar Jana Sena leaders Kalayanam Srinivas, B Ramakrishna, G Venkateswara Rao and several leaders were also present.
