Amaravati: The election campaign is all set to get expedited from Wednesday onwards. Though the political parties are conducting public meetings so far in the name of Prajagalam by TDP and Siddham by YSR Congress the real election campaign will start from tomorrow onwards.

So far, the leaders of the two parties have started meeting people by conducting public meetings across the state for the past some time.  After the announcement of candidates for Assembly and Lok Sabha the real election campaign will now commence from March 27 onwards. The election campaign will become hot once the election tours begin, political experts opine.

TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu has already been in his Kuppam assembly segment for the last two days.

He will resume his tour for the Prajagalam programme on March 27. He will visit and address three to four constituencies every day. He will continue his tour for four days continuously from Wednesday onwards. He will tour in Palamaner, Nagari, Nellore Rural on March 27, Singanamala, Raptaadu, Kadiri on March 28, Srisailam, Nandikotkuru, Kurnool on March 29, Mydukur, Proddatur, Srikalahasti, Sullurpet on March 30, Kavali, Santhanuthalapadu, Markapuram and Ongole on March 31. 

On the other hand, YSR Congress president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and YSR Congress president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is all set to launch a bus yatra as part of the general election campaign. YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will visit the majority of the constituencies during his 21-day bus yatra in view of forthcoming elections for the Assembly and the Lok Sabha.

As per the sources, the Chief Minister and the entire cabinet team will participate in the bus yatra. The bus yatra will start from Idupulapaya on March 27 after visiting and offering prayers to the late YS Rajasekhar Reddy at the ghat.

The bus tour will visit Pulivendula, Kamalapuram constituencies on the first day and the Chief Minister will address the first public meeting at Proddatur. The tour will cover under the purview of Lok Sabha constituency of Nandyala on March 28, Kurnool on March 29, Hindupur on March 30. The bus tour is named by YSR Congress party Memanta Siddham. The whole cabinet of YSR Congress may also take part in the programme at one or two points.

Besides, Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan has also finalised his election campaign schedule. He will start his election campaign from his contesting Assembly segment Pithapuram on March 30. He will visit Goddess Puruhutika temple and offers special prayers first. Later, he will start his campaign along with Vaaraahi vehicle and continue in the same Assembly segment for three days. Later he will tour in all his party contesting segments along with other constituencies. Jana Sena has planned three phased tours of Pawan for the next 40 days to participate in election campaigns across the state.
