There was a commotion in the MCD House Kejriwal due to an alleged assault on MP Swati Maliwal by an aide of CM Kejriwal.

During the proceedings at MCD House on Tuesday,cm kejriwal an uproar occurred due to the allegations made by Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal.

She claimed that she was assaulted by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s Personal Assistant, Bibhav, on his instructions.

As soon as the proceedings began, BJP and Congress councillors rushed to the well of the House and started raising slogans against Kejriwal.

They demanded his resignation over the incident and raised slogans such as “Kejriwal haye haye” and “Kejriwal istifa do”.

The opposition councillors also stood at the mayor’s podium carrying posters with slogans written on them like “Dalit Mayor Ko kursi par baithao, Dalit virodhi Kejriwal istifa do”.

Amidst the commotion, the mayor adjourned the House and left the meeting. On Monday, AAP’s Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal went to Civil Lines police station and alleged that a member of Kejriwal’s personal staff “assaulted” her at the Chief Minister’s official residence.
