On Friday, the price of silver decreased by Rs 113 to reach Rs 81,250 per kilogram as traders reduced their positions.

This decline in silver prices was observed on the Multi Commodity Exchange, where silver contracts for July delivery fell by 0.14 per cent to Rs 81,250 per kg, with a total business turnover of 23,961 lots.

On a global scale, the price of silver was observed to be trading at USD 26.79 per ounce in New York, marking a 0.15 per cent decrease.
