TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh launched a scathing criticism against the YSRCP government’s industrial policies, alleging a significant failure in attracting industries to Andhra Pradesh and hampering the state’s development.
During an election campaign in Mangalagiri constituency on Saturday, Lokesh highlighted the adverse impact of the YSRCP government’s policies on the industrial sector, leading to a regression instead of progress. He expressed concern that the chaotic policies of the YSRCP government had deterred new industries from investing in Andhra Pradesh, ultimately affecting employment opportunities for the state’s youth.
Lokesh pointed out that not a single major industry had been brought to the state by the YSRCP government in the past five years. He also criticised the frequent increase in electricity charges, which he believes is another deterrent for industries considering investments in the state.
In contrast, Lokesh promised that if the TDP regained power in AP, the party would actively work to attract international companies like Tesla to the state. He emphasised the importance of providing employment opportunities to the educated youth as part of the state’s development agenda. He lamented that the Chief Minister started demolishing the state immediately after coming to power by making false complaints.
He further requested the public to support him with a big majority to win the forthcoming elections. He said that he would develop the entire Mangalagiri constituency as a model in the country by providing jobs to youth. Several leaders of TDP were also present.
