Special Flower Offering to Durgamma During Vasanta Navratri
On the third day of Vasanta Navratri (01.04.2025), a special flower offering was held in honor of Durgamma at the newly constructed Puja Mandapam on the premises of the Nataraja Swamy Temple. The offering featured an assortment of yellow, white chamanthuli, and jasmine flowers.
The flower offering ceremony began at 9 AM with the arrival of priests and officials, who brought the flowers in bamboo baskets from the main temple. As the special poojas commenced, a large number of devotees gathered to participate and have darshan of the goddess.
Among the participants were two foreign women from Tokyo, Japan, who were visiting Vijayawada. After learning about the special poojas dedicated to Durgamma during the festival from local residents, they decided to join the flower offering, honoring the goddess with their presence.
