Eluru: May 10: TDP national president and former Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu called upon the people to reach their polling stations at 6 am on May 13 the polling day because of the scorching heat.

Addressing the gathering in a public meeting at Eluru, he asked the people to cast their vote by 10 am.

Expressing satisfaction over the postal ballot, he said the government employees completed their responsibility by participating in voting though the YSR Congress had created hurdles.

He said that the present government’s tenure would end in three days. The new government led by TDP would pay the increased pension amount for April month also immediately after coming to power, he said.

Compared with the YSR Congress’s manifesto, he said there is nothing new in Jagan’s manifesto. But the TDP’s manifesto has brightness with various schemes for poorer sections, he explained.

He asked people to end the worst rule in the history of Andhra Pradesh in the forthcoming elections. He said Jagan destroyed the state in many aspects. It is giving pain to him, he said.

Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan also came forward after seeing the situation in the state. He said that he would develop the state and would provide jobs for the youth of the state. He said that the people of various states were coming to their native places to cast their votes for the TDP. Several NDA leaders were also present in the meeting.
