The High Court has expressed displeasure over the non-filing of a counter in the case registered against former minister YS Vivekananda Reddy’s daughter Dr. Sunitha. The High Court asked how much time the lawyer would take to file a counter on behalf of Krishna Reddy who filed the case. Krishna Reddy approached the court saying that if he did not testify in their favor in the Viveka murder case, he was threatened to be implicated in the murder case. The Magistrate Court ordered to register a case based on Krishna Reddy’s complaint.
It is known that the police have registered a case against CBI SP Ramsingh, Viveka’s daughter Sunitha and son-in-law Rajasekhara Reddy. Sunitha’s couple approached the High Court to quash the orders of the Pulivendula Magistrate and the case registered by the police. After hearing the arguments, the High Court questioned why the counter was not filed even after giving so much time. The High Court adjourned the hearing to March 13, giving time to Krishna Reddy’s counsel to file a counter.
