Gajapatinagaram April 23: TDP national president N Chandrababu Naidu vowed to take responsibility of making every woman in Andhra Pradesh a millionaire, emphasising empowerment and financial independence.  He said that the government would provide interest free loans of Rs 10 lakh for dwcra women after TDP coming to power.

During an interaction with women in Bondapalli of Gajapathinagaram assembly constituency in Vizianagaram district on Tuesday, Chandrababu warned women about potential deceptors during the elections, urging them to be wary of false promises made by YSRCP.

Highlighting the TDP’s legacy of empowering women, Naidu praised TDP founder NTR for granting women legal rights to an equal share of parental property. In contrast, he criticised chief minister Jagan Mohan Reddy for burdening women with debts instead of assets under his administration.

Naidu underscored the TDP’s efforts in advancing women’s education and opportunities, citing the establishment of a Women’s University exclusively for higher studies and providing avenues for women’s participation in politics.

Naidu accused the YSRCP regime of financial mismanagement, alleging that Jagan’s policies have led to severe hardships for the people. He lamented the alleged practice of giving Rs 10 and taking Rs 100 in return, reflecting the economic challenges faced by the populace.

Naidu also raised concerns about increased attacks on women during the YSRCP’s tenure and highlighted rising unemployment among the youth, attributing it to the inefficiencies of the current administration.
