YSRCP leaders voice concern over unpaid contractor bills in Pulivendula

The Capital News

Kadapa: June 29: YSR Congress leaders express their displeasure over the unpaid bills of contractors who previously undertook development works in the municipalities of Pulivendula, the home town of former chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. With mounting pressure from municipal councilors, YSR Congress MP Avinash Reddy convened a meeting to address their concerns. Reports indicate that the meeting was prompted by growing discontent among councilors towards the party. During the discussion, councillors voiced their frustration over the lack of payments for development works completed in Pulivendula Municipality.

They are particularly concerned about the halted disbursement of Rs. 250 crore of funds under the PADA scheme, which has exacerbated their financial worries. The councillors demanded answers from MP Avinash Reddy on who would be responsible for clearing the outstanding payments. The gravity of the situation has reportedly caught the attention of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, emphasising the urgency for a resolution.
