Whitney Peak, best known for playing Zoya Lott in the “Gossip Girl” reboots, is set to star in an upcoming untitled shark thriller from Sony. She will be joined by Phoebe Dynevor, who gained popularity from her role in “Bridgerton.” The movie’s plot details and Peak’s role are being kept secret, but it will focus on a community dealing with shark attacks during a hurricane, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter. The film will be directed by Tommy Wirkola, known for his work on “Violent Night” starring David Harbour from “Stranger Things.” Shooting for the film is scheduled to commence in Melbourne in July. Adam McKay and Kevin Messick will produce the project under their banner, HyperObject Industries. Whitney Peak, who also appeared in the Disney+ film “Hocus Pocus 2”, will next be seen in the action film “Trap House.”
