The West Bengal government plans to host an exhibition to showcase the state’s industries and manufacturers. The exhibition, titled ‘Showcase Bengal’, is scheduled to be held from September 20 to October 6 at the Biswa Bangla Convention Centre in New Town area near Kolkata. The decision regarding this was finalized on Thursday. An official stated that the exhibition will feature the state’s industries and manufacturers. Moreover, the dates for the next edition of Bengal Global Business Summit (BGBS) are expected to be announced during this exhibition. The state organized the seventh edition of the ‘BGBS 2023’ in November last year, with participation from leaders of several countries, prominent figures of corporate India, and political dignitaries. The BGBS is a biennial event.
