The Department has predicted that the cyclone is likely to make landfall near Puri in Odisha on Monday afternoon, moving west and northwest.

Over the next two days, it is expected to move towards Odisha and Chhattisgarh, bringing the possibility of heavy rainfall to the Telugu states and particularly to Telangana. The areas of Hyderabad, Asifabad, Manchiryala, Jayashankar Bhupalapalli, Mulugu, Bhadradri-Kottagudem, Khammam, and Mahabubabad are expected to experience heavy rains, with an orange alert issued for these districts.
