The occasion was marked by a massive rally supporting TDP’s parliamentary candidate Kesineni Sivanath, popularly known as Chinni, which garnered significant public backing.

The rally, characterised by a large presence of women from diverse sections, ignited enthusiasm among supporters. The vibrant atmosphere at Kesineni’s office is evident, with TDP cadres actively participating in the campaign. Chants of “Chinni Zindabad” echoed in Vijayawada, creating a buzz of excitement. Streets adorned with banners in support of Chinni added to the festive spirit of the rally.

TDP leaders such as Budda Venkanna and Nagul Meera also joined the enthusiasm, cheering and raising slogans in support of Chinni. Budda Venkanna confidently declared that Chinni would secure victory with a margin of 2 lakh votes.

Despite initial hurdles, including the denial of permission for Chinni’s rally on Bandar Road due to traffic concerns, rallies on Eluru Road and Museum Road were permitted by the police, ensuring the continuation of the spirited campaign.
