Vettaiyan: High Court notices for Superstar movie

Superstar Rajinikanth’s latest movie “Vettayan” is directed by director TJ Gnanavel, who previously directed the super hit movie “Jai Bheem”. The movie features Malayali beauty Manju Warrier, Fahadh Fazil, Amitabh Bachchan, and Rana Daggubati in key roles. The movie has completed all its production and is scheduled to be released on October 10. It will be released in both Tamil and Telugu languages.

The recently released trailer has raised the expectations for the movie, with fans anticipating a blockbuster hit. Rajinikanth’s look, dialogues, and action in the movie have been praised by fans. On September 20, whole unit released a teaser titled “Vettayan Preview”, which was met with objections from a petitioner regarding certain dialogues glorifying encounters with criminals. The petitioner argued that these dialogues could encourage illegal activities. The court issued notices to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) and Leica Productions, and the request for an interim ban on the film was rejected. Further investigation will depend on the response from CBFC and Lyca Productions.
