Ujjaini Mahakaleshwar temple wall collapsed, resulting in two deaths.

Heavy rains in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh caused the collapse of gate number 4 wall of Ujjain’s Mahakaleshwara Jyotirlinga temple on Friday evening. As a result, two women died and many people were seriously injured. Rescue teams have arrived and started operations to rescue those trapped under the rubble.

The injured have been taken to Ujjain District Hospital for treatment, with some reported to be in critical condition. The heavy rains continue in Ujjain, and an old guard wall near the house of Jyotishacharya Pandit Anand Shankar Vyas also collapsed. The temple authorities immediately responded and informed the police and rescue officials, who arrived to assist in the rescue efforts.
