Amaravati: The top leaders of all major political parties are confident in the victory of their candidature in the forthcoming elections. (Top Bosses with good Prospects)

Senior most politician, former Chief Minister and TDP national president N Chandrababu Naidu, Chief Minister and YSR Congress president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan, AP BJP president D Purandeswari, TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh, TDP founder NT Rama Rao’s son and Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna and YSR Congress president YS Sharmila Reddy are the list of top leaders in Andhra Pradesh politics.

They are contesting the election though they are campaigning for other candidates of their parties across the state. It is a hot topic among the public on their winning chances. As per the ground reports, YSR Congress president YS Sharmila Reddy’s prospects are not clear in the present situation. She is representing the Congress while using his father, the late former Chief Minister Dr YS Rajasekhar Reddy’s name as political successor. The top leaders of other parties have a fair chance to win the election.

N Chandrababu Naidu has been contesting and winning continuously from Kuppam Assembly in the Chittoor district since 1989. So far he has been elected seven times continuously. Presently YSR Congress has fielded KR Bharath who belongs to backward classes to contest against Nara Chandrababu Naidu. The sources, Chandrababu Naidu’s victory is a formality this time though the TDP lost in the Kuppam municipal elections.

Similarly Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is contesting from Pulivendula constituency again. He got elected twice from Pulivendula constituency. The family members of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy have been continuously elected from Pulivendula since 1978. Jagan Mohan Reddy may again win in the present elections though he is facing rivalry from his family members this time.

The murder of YS Vivekanada Reddy is a hot topic in politics and Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is also facing allegations of his involvement in the incident. Jagan Mohan Reddy is again facing the same rival M Ravindranath Reddy (B. tech Ravi) of TDP in Pulivendula this time.

The TDP candidate emerged as a strong contender but the highest Reddy community population will help YS Jagan. The impact of YS Vivekananda Reddy murder is unclear at present.

On the other hand, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s sister and Andhra Pradesh Congress party president YS Sharmila Reddy is contesting for Kadapa Lok Sabha as a rival to the YSR Congress party. She is fighting against her brother YS Jagan by triggering allegations of his involvement in YS Vivekananda Reddy’s murder. She is directly level lung allegations as her uncle  Vivekanada Reddy was brutally murdered by YSR Congress Kadapa Lok Sabha candidate YS Avinash Reddy and CM Jagan is protecting the MP.

The Kadapa Lok Sabha is a strong seat for the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy family. The family members of YS Jagan have been elected continuously since the 1989 elections. This time the contest turned out interesting when the two members of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s family are in the race as rivals along with the TDP.

The TDP candidate D Narayana Reddy won once in 1984. But there is doubt in the political circles as to how YS Sharmila can win the Lok Sabha without any support of other Assembly candidates in the entire Lok Sabha. She has only hope as the daughter of the late YS Rajasekhar Reddy and his brother YS Vivekananda Reddy’s murder incident. Vivekananda Reddy’s daughter Sunita is also fighting against CM YS Jagan and his party candidate Avinash Reddy by extending support to Sharmila.

Nara Lokesh, son of Nara Chandrababu Naidu and the future leader of TDP, is testing his luck again from the same Mangalagiri constituency after a jolt in his maiden attempt. As per the reports, now he has a fair chance to win the election. The lack of development in the constituency limits after the stalling of capital construction, the election alliance with Jana Sena, and the service activities of Nara Lokesh are the winning factors in the election.

Besides, Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna has a bright chance to be reelected from Hindupur. The constituency people admire the family members of the late former Chief Minister NT Rama Rao, who was elected in his debut election in 1983 after establishing TDP. Film hero Balakrishna has selected not only the movie industry as a successor for his father’s profession but also politics contesting from the same constituency where NT Rama Rao was elected for the first time. Now his re-election is a formality when his rival in the last election, former IPS officer Iqbal joined the TDP from YSR Congress recently.

Another family member of NT Rama Rao, Daggubati Purandewari is testing her luck from Rajahmundry Lok Sabha on the BJP ticket. Actually the seat is a strong seat for Telugu Desam. TDP won three times while BJP also won two times with the support of Telugu Desam. In this backdrop, she selected the constituency without a doubt. The voters are in an angry mood against the BJP but the NTR’s legacy, anti-incumbency, and her stature towards leadership are helpful factors to win the elections, as per the ground reports.

Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan has good prospects to win the elections though he faced a bitter experience in the last elections. Now he is contesting from Pithapuram where the majority of people belong to the Kapu community. TDP’s support, anti-incumbency factor and personal stature, leadership qualities of Pawan Kalyan are winning factors.

As per the ground reports, except for YS Sharmila all the top leaders are likely to win without any hurdles. The sentiment and YS Vivekananda Reddy issues can only help Sharmila and it may be known after the announcement of election results.
