Tirumala: Due to heavy rains, the Meteorological Department has implemented precautionary measures in TTD. Authorities have ensured that arrangements are in place to facilitate devotees without any issues.
The Srivari Mettu footpath has been closed for safety reasons. Efforts are being made to prevent traffic jams on the ghat roads by monitoring potential landslides.
TTD has also arranged for darshans and accommodation for the devotees. Fortunately, the authorities were relieved as no rain was reported after Vaygundam crossed the coast.
