Terror Arrest: Arms Seized in J&K’s Kupwara District

Security forces arrested a suspected over-ground worker with terror links and recovered arms and ammunition in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Monday. Aijaz Ahmad Parry, a resident of Kunan Poshpura area of the north Kashmir district, was apprehended at a checkpoint in the general area Nagri, according to police officials. They reported that a hand grenade, a pistol with a magazine, and four rounds of 9mm ammunition, along with other “incriminating” material, were found in Parry’s possession. Further investigation is ongoing, the officials added.
