Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is set to visit Ammapur in Chinna Chintakunta Mandal, Mahbubnagar District, on Sunday. During his visit, he will participate in the Sri Kurumurthy Brahmotsavam and pay respects at the Lord Venkateswara Swamy temple. Following this, he will lay the foundation stone for the construction of an elevated corridor on the temple hill, which has been sanctioned with a budget of Rs. 110 crore. To ensure safety and security during the event, a heavy police presence of approximately 700 personnel has been deployed.
The Chief Minister will arrive at the Kurumurthy Temple near Ammapur village by road from Hyderabad via Kothakota. As the CM attends the Venkateswara Swamy Brahmotsavam, Devarakadra MLA G. Madhusudhan Reddy inspected the arrangements at the fairgrounds on Saturday, accompanied by DIG L.S. Chauhan and Additional Collector Shivendra Pratap. During their inspection, they noted unsanitary conditions near the temple's Rajagopuram stage and instructed officials to clear the garbage.
No Restrictions for Devotees
Madhusudhan Reddy informed reporters that the Chief Minister is expected to arrive at the temple at 10 AM on Sunday. He mentioned that comprehensive arrangements have been made for the visit. The CM will perform the groundbreaking ceremony for the elevated ghat road leading to the temple, sanctioned at a cost of Rs. 110 crore. Following the ceremony, he will have darshan of the Swamy and address the gathering below the hill. Reddy emphasized that there will be no restrictions for devotees during the CM's visit, allowing them to visit the temple as usual. Additionally, shops in the area will remain open. Temple Chairman Govardhan Reddy, Executive Officer Madaneshwar Reddy, PACS Chairman Surender Reddy, leaders Vattem Sivakumar and Gudur Shekhar, along with members of the governing body, participated in the meeting.
