Telangana Rains: Alert for the Next Two Days

Telangana Rains: The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy rains in Telangana for the next two days. They have warned that thunderstorms may occur in some areas and advised people to be cautious. This comes after a period of heavy rains last month, followed by extreme heat in the past two weeks.

The ongoing cyclone along the coasts of Southwest and West Central Bay of Bengal, North Tamil Nadu, and South Andhra Pradesh is expected to affect several districts in Telangana, including Yadadri, Bhuvanagiri, Rangareddy, Hanmakonda, Hyderabad, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Medchal Malkajigiri, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Janagama, Siddipet, Sangareddy, Medak, Nagar Kurnool, Vanaparthi, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Narayanadwara, Jogulamba Gapet, Vikarabad, and Kamareddy. Mahbubnagar district is also expected to experience rainfall.

Farmers have already suffered heavy losses due to the recent rains, and strong winds with speeds of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour are anticipated. Thunder and lightning are also expected in some areas.
