NDA complains against police to EC on security lapses

Amaravati: The leaders of NDA including Telugu Desam, BJP and Jana Sena lodged a complaint against police officials concerned with the Election Commission here on Monday. Several leaders of the TDP, Jana Sena met the EC officials. Leaders including Nadendla Manhor, D Narendra, Varla Ramiah requested the EC to take action against the police who were the reason for security lapses in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Prajagalam meeting. They said that the government failed to monitor the security arrangements including traffic and vehicle diversion. They said that some officials were intentionally violating their duties. They requested the officials to take immediate action against the higher officials concerned.
