TDP alliance to elect Chandrababu as legislative party leader

Vijayawada: The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) alliance is scheduled to meet on Tuesday to elect Nara Chandrababu Naidu, TDP chief, as the leader in the Legislative Assembly. During this significant meeting, the alliance parties, comprising TDP, Janasena, and BJP, will pass a resolution to officially elect Chandrababu as the leader of the legislature party. Subsequently, a delegation from the alliance will present the resolution to the Governor, requesting him to invite Chandrababu to form the government.
Following the Governor’s issuance of a notification inviting Chandrababu to form the government, he is set to be sworn in as the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday, June 12. Post the swearing-in ceremony, Chandrababu, along with his family, will proceed to Tirumala for the darshan of Lord Venkateswara and stay overnight. The following morning, on the 13th (Thursday), they will visit Lord Shiva.
Preparations for Chandrababu’s swearing-in ceremony near IT park at Kesaraplli have been expedited by the authorities. The construction of the stage is nearing completion, with dimensions of 80 feet in width, 60 feet in length, and a height of eight feet. A large tent using German hangers is being erected, with special parking arrangements made for the visiting guests and VIPs. Additionally, a special gallery is being arranged for the family members of Chandrababu, Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan, and Nandamuri Balakrishna. A separate block is allocated for the families of MLAs and MPs. Due to space constraints at the venue, only those with passes will be permitted to attend the oath-taking ceremony.
The platform for the swearing-in ceremony is being set up next to Kesarapalli Medha Towers in Gannavaram Mandal, with TDP leaders and officials overseeing the arrangements. The stage works are supervised by Tirupati joint collector Dhyanchander and Visakhapatnam commissioner Saikanth Verma. A massive tent, 800 feet long and 420 feet wide, is being erected with German hangers. On Sunday, TDP leader Achenennadu, Chief Secretary Neerabh Kumar Prasad, DGP Harishkumar Gupta, Special Officers Pradyumna, Babu.A, Veera Pandyan, Agriculture Department Commissioner Harikiran, and State Additional DGP Babji examined the preparations under the supervision of DK Balaji.
