The Tamil Nadu Assembly Speaker M Appavu has scheduled a session of the state legislative assembly for June 24, as confirmed by Assembly principal secretary K Srinivasan on Friday. During this session, they will discuss the demand for grants to various government departments. The first brief assembly session for this year took place in February. This upcoming meeting will be the first one after the DMK combine’s significant victory in the Lok Sabha election, where they won all 39 Parliamentary constituencies in the state, defeating the AIADMK and the BJP. The legislative assembly will commence at 10 am on June 24 at the Assembly House in the Secretariat, as per the release from Srinivasan.
