The Supreme Court on Friday granted anticipatory bail to prominent YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leaders Devineni Avinash, Jogi Ramesh, Lella Appireddy, Talashila Raghuram, and Gavaskar in connection with the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) office attack case. The bench, while issuing the order, directed the leaders to fully cooperate with the ongoing investigation.

In addition to the bail, the court instructed the accused to surrender their passports to the relevant authorities and fixed the next hearing on November 4. Senior advocates Kapil Sibal, Neeraj Kishan Kaushal, and Allanki Ramesh represented the YSR Congress leaders during the proceedings.

The case pertains to a violent incident at the TDP office, leading to heightened tensions between the political parties in Andhra Pradesh. The police have already formed special teams to arrest the YSRCP leaders in this case and arrested former MP Nandigam Suresh
