Stellantis India Announces Price Hike for Citroen and Jeep Models Due to Rising Input Costs

Automaker Stellantis India has announced that it will be increasing the prices of all models under the Citroen brand and the Compass and Meridian models under the Jeep brand by 0.5% from April 30, 2024. The price hike is due to escalating input costs and operational expenses. The company stated that this price increase will result in a modest increment ranging from Rs 4,000 to Rs 17,000 across the models. The Citroen brand offers a range of vehicles, including the compact car C3, SUVs C3 Aircross and C5 Aircross, and the electric car E-C3, which are priced from Rs 6.16 lakh to Rs 37.67 lakh. The Jeep Compass is priced between Rs 20.69 lakh and Rs 26.19 lakh, while the Jeep Meridian is tagged between Rs 33.6 lakh and Rs 36.97 lakh (all-prices ex-showroom). The price adjustment reflects the current economic realities, enabling the company to continue delivering innovative vehicles to its valued customers.
