Stay vigilant amid heavy rains : CM Chandrababu  

Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has directed district collectors and officials to remain on high alert as heavy rains continue to lash parts of Andhra Pradesh. During a review meeting held on Thursday morning, CM Chandrababu was briefed by the collectors of Prakasam, Nellore, and Chittoor districts on the current situation.

The districts of Nellore and Chittoor have experienced heavy to very heavy rainfall, leading to rising water levels in ponds, streams, and irrigation projects. CM Chandrababu urged officials to closely monitor the water flows and ensure the safety of irrigation systems.

He emphasized the importance of maintaining water management measures to prevent flooding. Irrigation department officials provided updates on the current flow levels and the actions being taken to control water discharge. With further rainfall expected, CM Chandrababu advised all officials to remain fully alert and prepared to respond to any emergencies.
