Spot Demand Boosts Copper Futures: Prices Inch Up 0.11%

Copper prices rose by 0.11% to Rs 892.60 per kilogram in the futures market on Monday due to increased spot demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in June traded higher by 95 paise or 0.11% at Rs 892.60 per kg in a business turnover of 5,206 lots. Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to an increase in bets by market participants
