Australian Media Criticizes Kohli After On-Field Argument

The Boxing Day Test, which began on Thursday, witnessed an incident during the match's first day when Kohli collided forcefully with Constas using his shoulder, leading to a minor verbal spat between the two players. Following this, the Australian media severely criticized Kohli, even comparing him to a circus clown, with headlines such as "Clown Kohli" circulating widely.

The altercation occurred after the 10th over of the innings. Constas, who was playing aggressively, seemed to provoke Kohli into engaging with him. In response to the incident, the International Cricket Council (ICC) imposed a fine on Kohli, docking 20% of his match fee for breaching the rules. Additionally, a demerit point was added to Kohli's disciplinary record.
