Salman Khan to Star in A R Murugadoss’ “Sikandar,” Filming Begins June 18

Superstar Salman Khan is all set to start filming his upcoming movie “Sikandar” from June 18, as announced by the makers on Monday. In this film, Salman will be portraying the titular role under the direction of A R Murugadoss, known for directing “Ghajini” and “Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty”. Slated for a theatrical release on Eid 2025, the movie will be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala’s banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and will also star Rashmika Mandanna from “Pushpa: The Rise”.

The first shooting schedule is set to kick off with an action scene to be filmed at 33,000 feet above sea level inside an aircraft featuring Salman. Notably, Salman’s last big-screen appearance was in 2023’s “Tiger 3”, while Rashmika’s last release was “Animal” in the same year.
