Raymond’s Ethnic Wear Brand ‘Ethnix’ Set for Major Expansion: Over 100 New Stores Planned to Meet Growing Demand

Raymond, a leading textile and fabric manufacturer, plans to expand its ethnic wear brand ‘Ethnix by Raymond’. According to the company’s latest annual report, they intend to add over 100 new stores for Ethnix by Raymond. The brand was introduced a couple of years ago as a line for special occasions and celebrations and currently has over 114 stores. The company aims to harness the fast-growing demand for ethnic wear in India and drive growth through ‘Ethnix By Raymond’. Gautam Hari Singhania, the Chairman and Managing Director, highlighted the expansion plans, stating, “As Indian weddings and celebrations become more extravagant, we are expanding our store footprint and bringing Ethnix by Raymond to every corner of the country.” The Ethnix business has already made a strong contribution to Raymond’s branded apparel segment. Singhania also announced the goal of adding over 100 new Ethnix by Raymond stores in the fiscal year 2025. In addition to expanding the number of stores, the company is also broadening its ethnic product line under the Ethnix by Raymond brand. In the financial year ending on March 31, 2024, the branded apparel business, including Ethnix, recorded sales of Rs 1,587 crore. This segment encompasses brands such as Raymond Ready to Wear, Park Avenue, ColorPlus, and Parx.
