Rayalaseema Saguniti Sadhana Samiti president Bojja Dasaratharami Reddy congratulated the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu for taking the initiative to resolve the issues, and also commended Telangana State Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for responding positively. Dasharatha Ramireddy has sent a letter to Chandrababu Naidu by mail, asking him to resolve crucial issues in the irrigation sector while the Chief Ministers of the two states are ready for discussions on the 6th of this month regarding the unresolved issues between the two states as per the state bifurcation act.
This was shared during a meeting at the Nandyala Samiti office on Wednesday. Rayalaseema and South Telangana region have been facing severe problems in the irrigation sector in the united state of Andhra Pradesh, and even after the bifurcation of the state, these areas continue to suffer due to delays in resolving the division issues.
In the letter, they appealed to Chandrababu Babu to work for the development of the two regions, keeping in mind the constitutional rights for the development of the irrigation sector of the backward areas of the two Telugu states, Rayalaseema and South Telangana, and the aspects of the state bifurcation act, and to prioritize the points mentioned below in the discussions on the 6th of this month, and to assist in their solution.
