South Central Railway has canceled more than 30 trains in Telugu states due to heavy rains, with some trains partially canceled and others diverted. The details of canceled trains have been posted by South Central Railway.
Railway track was damaged on the Vijayawada-Kajipet route Due to heavy rains in Telangana, many areas are experiencing overflowing streams and rivers. In Ayodhya village near Mahabubabad, a dam broke. This led to the stoppage of several trains on the Vijayawada-Kajipet route.
The railway track between Intikanne and Kesamudram was destroyed, causing gravel to wash away on the upper and lower rail lines. Heavy floodwater is flowing on the railway tracks in the suburb of Mahababubad, resulting in the stoppage of Machilipatnam and Simhapuri Express trains at Mahabubabad railway station. The flood also impacted the railway track at Thallapusalapalli, leading to a four hour stoppage of the Mahabubnagar-Visakha Express at Pandullapally.
