Amaravati, July 1: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said he is yet to assess the present condition of the State which was badly handled by the YSRCP regime.
After distributing the hiked pensions directly to the Nayak family at Penumaka village in Guntur district he said even the bureaucrats are yet to come to grips with the State’s condition which was badly affected by the misrule of the Jagan Government.

“The last tenure was a bad dream. People lived with fear and tension. (Brand Image of AP) The State’s debts are baffling. All the administrative systems were severely damaged by the incompetent policies of the government.  The officers lost their morale owing to the coterie which constantly misguide the CM”.

He said the investors were disinterested in the State under the present situation. The brand of the State was damaged by the regime. The previous Chief Minister proved himself as a misfit for the post. I have a responsibility to prove myself as how the Chief Minister should be,” Chandrababu Naidu said.

He said that had construction of Amravati and Polavaram been completed, the financial condition of the State and people would have been different.
“Unfortunately, they were not the priority of the Jagan Government”.

He said the previous government should take the blame for the death of 33 old people by making them do rounds around the village secretariats to receive pensions.

Now the present government, unlike the previous government, proved 1.20 lakh village secretariat staff could deliver the pension to doorsteps.

“However, the previous government could not distribute pensions at doorsteps through volunteers when the election commission imposed restrictions”.

“The government has a responsibility to give good governance. The leaders of NDA parties were not the owners but servants of the public”.
Naidu hoped the government would create wealth with an aim of improving the standard of living of the people.
Describing the massive victory in the recent elections, Lokesh said his hardwork and determination to serve the people of the constituency made him win with a big majority.. Several leaders took part in the meeting.
