Amaravati: Prashanth Kishore (PK), who played an important role behind the YSR Congress party’s landslide victory in the 2019 elections, now made comments against its prospects before the general elections assumed political significance. He has given interviews to various media platforms by making comments against the YSR Congress. Presently, it is a hot topic in political circles.
He is one of the founder members of (I-PAC) the Indian Political Action Committee with some other members. Indeed, the I-PAC says it is the platform of choice for students and young professionals to participate in and make meaningful contributions to political affairs and governance of the country, without necessarily being part of a political party.
But now there is an opinion in society that the I-PAC and its team members dominate the entire political parties and system. The I-PAC claims that because of its organisation the successful governments introduced several welfare schemes like Navaratnalu in Andhra Pradesh, student credit cards in West Bengal, Revolutionary Education reform in New Delhi, Rs one for clinic health facility in Maharashtra, and poverty eradication plan for crore people in Tamil Nadu. However, so far neither public nor any appreciated their involvement. Now only they have the recognition that they can provide political tactics, strategies, and surveys.
However, the I-PAC team and Prashanth Kishore have taken different stands this time. The I-PAC team worked for Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
According to sources, nearly 1000 members worked for the prospects of YSR Congress in the backend during the last two years. Similarly, the I-PAC team took part in various election-related programmes including social media work and publicity.
On the other hand, the TDP has also been utilising the services of strategists but Prashanth Kishore played an impressive role in explaining his studies which are against the YSR Congress. Finally, strategist PK and his established organisation and I-PAC have taken different stands interestingly and everyone should wait until the announcement of election results to learn which group ideas or views are worthy.
