Order to register a case against Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman

A special court has directed the Tilak Nagar PS police in Bengaluru to register a case against Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. The case is related to allegations of her making threats in the context of election bonds.

The complaint was lodged by Jjanadikar Sangharsha Parishad Sansthan and its president Adarsh Iyar with the Tilak Nagar police. However, the Tilak Nagar police initially objected to receiving the complaint. Subsequently, a petition was filed in the court of legislative representatives in April last year.

The court heard the petition on Friday and ordered to register an FIR against Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. The court has adjourned the hearing of this case to October 10. The police complaint has been filed against Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, senior officials of ED, BJP President JP Nadda, and top leaders of Karnataka BJP Nalini Kumar Kathil and Vijayendra.
