Modi’s birthday : Tomorrow is Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 71st birthday. A 13-year-old girl from Tamil Nadu named Presley Shekina has created a world record by working continuously for 12 hours with 800 kg of grains and drawing a portrait of Prime Minister Modi. She presented the world’s largest millet painting to wish him on his birthday.
The portrait covers an area of 600 square feet. Presley started at 8:30 am and completed the painting at 8:30 pm. Presley’s parents are Pratap Selvam and Sankirani, and she studies in the 8th standard at a private school in Chennai. UNICO World Records has recognized her achievement and awarded her a certificate and medal under the Student Achievement category.
Presley’s school administrators, principal, and relatives are appreciating her success. Millets, also known as coarse grains, include a variety such as sorghum, proso, pearl, foxtail, finger, browntop, barnyard, little millet (Moraio), buckwheat (Kuttu), amaranth, and kodo. These can be used in a variety of foods including roti, dosa, idli, noodles, and biscuits.
