Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi Emphasizes Public Engagement in Police Strategy Review

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi held a meeting with senior police officers, including DGP Arun Kumar Sarangi, on Saturday to review the law and order situation in the state. During the meeting, he instructed the police to listen to the grievances of the people. After the meeting, DGP Sarangi told reporters, “The chief minister has instructed us to provide quality services and listen to the grievances of people coming to police stations.” The chief minister was briefed on various law and order issues and the functioning of the police force in the state. Additionally, additional director generals Sanjay Kumar, R K Sharma, Arun Bothra, and Amitabh Thakur, along with several other officers, were present at the meeting.
