Noel Tata has been elected as the Chairman of the Tata Trust Board. He was unanimously elected by the Trust Board. Currently, he is serving as the Chairman of Tata Investment Corporation and Vice Chairman of Tata Steel and Titan Company. Ratan Tata, chairman of the Tata Sons group of companies, passed away on Wednesday night.
The Trust Board elected Noel Tata as his successor. The company operates in nearly 100 countries across five continents and generates substantial annual income. 66 percent of this income will be allocated to Tata Trust, which will be used for various service programs through donations. Given the significance of the decisions made in the Trust Board meetings, Noel Tata was chosen as the chairman of Tata Trust.
