The sensational case involving Mumbai actress Kadambari Jethwani has taken another dramatic turn. Arrested in February following allegations from Kukkala Vidyasagar, Jethwani faced accusations of attempting to sell Vidyasagar’s land to Nageshwararaju using forged documents. The case attracted widespread attention, further complicated by the involvement of three IPS officers from Andhra Pradesh who were criticized for their hasty actions.
The State government has now ordered a comprehensive inquiry into the matter, which has also drawn in prominent industrialist Sajjan Jindal, who is alleged to be linked to the case following Jethwani’s rape allegations against him. In a new development, Nageshwararaju has filed a fresh complaint with the Kuchipudi Police. He asserts that Jethwani never intended to sell the disputed land to him.
Additionally, Nageshwararaju accuses Vidyasagar of misusing his Aadhaar card—originally given for a Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) darshan—to falsely implicate him in the dispute. Previously, Vidyasagar had accused Jethwani of creating fraudulent documents to facilitate the sale of his land to Nageshwararaju, with Nageshwararaju and his son-in-law Bharat Kumar listed as witnesses. With these new allegations, Nageshwararaju has urged the Kuchipudi Police to thoroughly investigate and deliver justice in this increasingly convoluted case.
