Nepal’s Prime Minister Prachanda to Attend Modi’s Swearing-In Ceremony in India

Nepal’s Prime Minister, Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, is set to visit India for three days, starting Sunday. During his visit, he is scheduled to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Council of Ministers, chaired by Prime Minister Prachanda, has approved his visit to India. The Prime Minister will depart for New Delhi on Sunday to attend Prime Minister Modi’s swearing-in ceremony. The ceremony, where Modi will be sworn in as Prime Minister for the third time, will take place in Delhi. India has also invited leaders from various countries including Bangladesh, Maldives, Bhutan, Mauritius, and Seychelles to attend the ceremony. Prime Minister Prachanda is expected to return home on Tuesday. This visit follows Prachanda’s previous official visit to India from October 4 to 7, 2023, after he assumed the post of Prime Minister for the third time.
