NEET uncertainty caused restlessness, anxiety, anger among people: Mayawati

The uncertainty surrounding the NEET medical entrance examination has caused restlessness, anxiety, and anger, according to BSP chief Mayawati. Allegations of irregularities, including paper leaks, in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET-UG) have sparked protests and litigation, with some demanding a complete re-examination. The Union health ministry has postponed NEET-PG, scheduled for June 23, as a “precautionary measure” amid the allegations. Mayawati emphasized the need for a quick and correct permanent solution to address the restlessness, anxiety, and anger among the people. She also expressed serious concerns about paper leaks in examinations held at both national and state levels, as well as corruption in government recruitments. Mayawati called for strict measures to prevent irregularities and emphasized the inappropriateness of government negligence or political interference in addressing these issues.
