NDA REGISTERS LANDSLIDE VICTORY IN AP ELECTIONS

Amaravati: June 4: The partners of National Democratic Alliance (NDA) TDP, Jana Sena and BJP registered a historical victory in the 2024 elections. As per the preliminary reports, the alliance parties won 165 MLA seats in the AP Assembly while YSR Congress faced a humiliating defeat with only 11 MLA seats. The YSR Congress was restricted from 151 MLA seats to 10 seats in the election. In Lok Sabha segments, the TDP candidates are in the leading position with 16 MP seats, Jana Sena 2 MP seats, BJP 3 MP seats and YSR Congress in 4 MP seats. 

Several prominent leaders of NDA TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh, Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna, Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan, former Union Minister Y Sujana Chowdary, senior leader Gorantla Bucchaiah Chowdary, Raghurama Krishnam Raju, former speaker Nadendla Manohar registered victories. Besides, the MP candidates of NDA like Daggubati Purandeswwari, CM Ramesh, won the election. The most worth-watching contest Kadapa Loksabha also turned into the favor of TDP in the triangle contest. Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee president YS Sharmila Reddy played an impressive role. Several ministers like Kodali Nani, RK Roja, Vidudala Rajni lost in the election. The TDP won the most prestigious constituency Gannavaram Assembly. Sitting MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi faced a defeat.  

The NDA parties registered a clean sweep victory in the Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur and Nellore districts. Top leaders like Botcha Satyanarayana, his wife Botch Jhansi Lakshmi and most of the ministers and top leaders faced a humiliating defeat. TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh registered an unexpected majority of almost one lakh. Andhra Pradesh BJP president Daggubati Purandeswari won with more than two lakh majority. The TDP MP candidates Sri Bharath, Rammohan Naidu registered more than three lakh majority
