Nara Lokesh fulfills promise on establishing Goldsmiths Corporation

Minister for IT and HRD Nara Lokesh has delivered on his promise to the people of Mangalagiri by initiating the establishment of a Goldsmiths Corporation, aimed at supporting and uplifting the goldsmith community in the region. In the cabinet meeting on Wednesday, a formal decision was taken to create the corporation, which is expected to significantly benefit goldsmiths across the State.

In a celebratory gathering, the members cut a cake and shared their joy, while also felicitating the minister with shawls for his dedication to their cause.

Lokesh, addressing the event, expressed his happiness at fulfilling the 60-year-old dream of the goldsmith community. Now, with his government in power, he urged all stakeholders to come together and develop procedures for the formation of the Swarnakara Corporation. He also emphasized his vision to transform Mangalagiri into a “gold hub,” a major center for goldsmiths and related industries.
