The Minister visited various sections of Chandrapalem Zilla Parishad High School, where students are studying in Class X. The students themselves inquired about the problems they faced. The Minister encouraged them, stating that it is the largest school in the state and that students who have studied there have secured seats in leading educational institutions like IITs. The Minister examined the students’ textbooks on this occasion. A student was asked to read a paragraph from the textbook. The Minister suggested that the student explain what they understood after reading, both in English and Telugu. He shared with the students that he struggled to study in Telugu.

The students were asked about their understanding of the paragraph. The Minister also asked the students about South Africa and whether they knew about Nelson Mandela. All the students said that South Africa is the country. The Minister explained that Mahatma Gandhi and Nelson Mandela were both freedom fighters. He asked if they knew what the beauty of democracy was. On this occasion, the Minister mentioned that steps will be taken to involve parents in the progress of students, and feedback will also be taken from parents using technology.

The Minister himself inquired about the problems faced by the students. He noted that the playground in the school is not in proper condition and that water stagnates due to rain. The Minister promised to develop the sports complex. The students were asked about the facilities that need improvement in the school. A student requested the construction of a flyover as they had to cross the main road to come to school. The Minister promised to look into it. The students expressed that they were good. Minister Nara Lokesh identified deficiencies in the maintenance of toilets and inspected the toilets used by boys and girls in the school.
