Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has been focusing on developing new policies after the formation of the coalition government. The government has made changes to the sand policy to allow mining in certain areas, and now the Chief Minister is working on finalizing the mining policy, considering options such as a “first come, first serve” policy or auctioning the quarries.
Furthermore, the Chief Minister will review the financial situation of Andhra Pradesh, with a focus on improving revenue departments and acquiring revenue. He will also inquire about pending funds from the Centre for central schemes. Additionally, Chandrababu held a review meeting on IT, electronics, and drone policies, expressing satisfaction with the discussions and suggesting improvements in these areas. The officials also presented information on the upcoming Amaravati Drone Summit organized in partnership with the Central Civil Aviation Department.
