Mangalagiri: Family members of Nara Lokesh orchestrated a dynamic election campaign in wards 16 and 18 of Mangalagiri town, embarking on a comprehensive door-to-door outreach to galvanise support for Lokesh, TDP alliance candidates, and to elucidate the Super-6 programmes.

In a strategic maneuver, concerted efforts were made to engage with small traders, understanding their concerns and reaffirming the alliance’s commitment to grassroots interactions.

Amidst the spirited campaign activities, Nandamuri Suhasini, daughter of the late Harikrishna delivered a message, encapsulating the hopes and aspirations of the populace. She emphasised the palpable anticipation for Chandrababu Naidu’s return as chief minister, noting the pivotal significance of every vote in the upcoming May 13 election. She underscored the crucial role of the coalition government in shaping a prosperous future for all, echoing sentiments of enhanced welfare, job creation, and youth empowerment under Chandrababu’s leadership.

Crediting Chandrababu Naidu for Hyderabad’s global stature, Suhasini outlined the coalition’s commitment to women’s welfare initiatives, including financial support for women aged 18 to 59, aid for children, free RTC bus travel, and subsidised gas cylinders—a holistic strategy aimed at fostering women’s empowerment and well-being.

Garapati Srinivas, grandson of NTR, expressed unwavering confidence in Lokesh’s candidacy, citing his track record of developmental initiatives despite being out of power for five years. The campaign echoed calls for Lokesh and Pemmasani Chandrasekhar to secure resounding victories, symbolising renewed support for Chandrababu’s leadership represented by the bicycle symbol.

The campaign saw a robust turnout of leaders from TDP, Janasena, and BJP, underlining a collective determination to steer Mangalagiri towards the path of progress and inclusive development.
