Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu stated that he is facing a dilemma regarding the future of Amaravati, the capital city project.

He promised to release a white paper on the status of Amaravati and seek input from the public.

The Amaravati project was stalled from 2019 to 2024 under the previous government, but Naidu has expressed his commitment to making it the sole capital of Andhra Pradesh.

He visited Amaravati for the first time after taking office for the fourth term and inspected various construction projects. Naidu mentioned that up to 80% of the work on these projects had been completed.

He also emphasized the importance of Amaravati as the capital for the people of the state.

Furthermore, Naidu thanked the farmers for contributing their land for the development of the state capital. Additionally, he discussed the development plans for Visakhapatnam and Kurnool. Lastly, Naidu addressed the issue of a lavish mansion built during the previous regime and expressed his intention to discuss it further at a later time.
